Guardians of Atenveldt - Officer
- The Order of the Guardians of Atenveldt is awarded by the Kingdom of Atenveldt for special talent and excellence in the organization and practice of the arts of war, and the teaching of military tactics for SCA-style warfare. The award is given in the degrees of Commander, Officer, and Legionnaire, the designation being determined by the Crown at the time of presentation. An individual may receive the award multiple times, but only in increasing degrees. Recipients may style themselves as Commanders, Officers or Legionnaires of the Guardians of Atenveldt, may place the initials C.G.A., O.G.A., or L.G.A., respectively, after their names, and may wear a medallion with the badge of the order suspended from a colored riband denoting the degree of the award: Commander - gold, Officer - silver, Legionnaire - blue. The badge of the order is: Per pale argent and azure, in pale a sun in his splendor and two swords in saltire Or. Companionship of this Order conveys an Award of Arms (if the recipient is not already armigerous).

Award abreviations listed in Canon Lore are not authoritative, as many Kingdoms (including Lochac) do not specify abbreviations for awards. Where specified by Kingdom Law, such award abbreviations used are used (sometimes modified by addition of a kingdom), where absent, abbreviations have been made up.
